The Kelowna International Airport is reporting another record breaking month.
Last month was the busiest March on record with 131,185 passengers. That's over 7,700 more than a year prior and almost 4000 more passengers compared to March 2010.
Communications manager, Jenelle Hynes says last month was actually one of the busiest ever for YLW.
"It came only second as our busiest month ever in YLW history. The closest number we had in YLW history came in August 2010 when we had 131,914 passengers."
Hynes says March hasn't been a record breaking month for a number of years.
She says there was an increase of passengers from Ontario flying into Kelowna for the end of ski season.
