Love it or hate it, the familiar sound of music blaring from the horns of ice-cream trucks may once again be part of a West Kelowna summer.

West Kelowna Mayor Doug Findlater says council will revisit it's ban on music from mobile vendors at the next council meeting on June 12th.

Findlater says while many think council's by-law was heavy-handed, other residents have legitimate complaints about the ice-cream truck.

"I heard a story the other day of a grandmother with 6 grandkids who pressured to spend 4 bucks a pop.  That's expensive. Someone else was concerned about a truck on the street at 9:15pm on a school night.  So, those things are there too", he said.

Findlater says he wouldn't be surprised if the new policy was ammended.

I'm more concerned about the grammatical error in this article than the sound of the music
