A murder trial for a Kelowna man is in its beginning stages in Supreme Court..
Trevor Shannon is accused of killing 18 year old Evan Wilkes at a house party April 7, 2007 by shooting him in the head.
He was arrested moments later.
Crown attorney Duncan Campbell went over photographic evidence with Cpl. Gerard Antony Kroon, who took pictures of the scene the night of the shooting.
Cpl. Kroon described a hole in a hat, a bloody t shirt, a spent shell casing, broken glass and numerous beer cans as just some of the items located.
The trial is expected to last three weeks, with Crown hoping to close its case by mid-late next week.
