The MLA for Kelowna/Lake Country is all for on-line voting.
Norm Letnick made the comment after B-C Attorney General Shirley Bond asked the chief electoral officer to form a panel to consider the potential of Internet voting.
"I am all for any safe process that will give my constituents an opportunity to exercise their democratic rights".
Letnick's only concern is security and privacy issues.
The panel review could kickstart a conversation about modernizing B-C's electoral processes, but there's no indication when the panel will be selected or how long it will have to complete its work.
