An additional flight has been added to Kelowna International Airport.
Thanks to higher than expected early bookings on the new daily Los Angeles flight, United Airlines will start a second seasonal flight.
This flight will link YLW to Sydney and Melbourne Australia and Auckland, New Zealand.
Jenelle Hynes, Marketing and Media Relations for the Kelowna International Airport, says,"The Australia market, especially Sydney and Melbourne, it's our number one international destination outside of our hot sun location."
Hynes also says that Kelowna certainly has the market for connecting with Australians and New Zealanders, many of whom are inbound skiers coming to hit the slopes here in the Kelowna area as well as visit our wineries and other hot spots.
The added flights will run between January 5th and April 6th, 2013.
