Humbled and honored....

How Kelowna-Lake Country MLA, Norm Letnick, is feeling after being appointed as BC's new Agriculture Minister during Wednesday's cabinet shuffle.

"This is something for someone like me, who is always trying to serve the community no matter where I am, aspires to be in a Ministry. It's a great pleasure to be with Ben Stewart and Steve Thomson, the three Kelowna region MLA's, all in cabinet."

As far as what it took for Letnick to gain the cabinet post, he says it's not unusual for members of the Liberal party to announce ahead of an election they will be retiring....which allows for fresh ideas and new blood.
