The brush fire in the Black Mountain area of Kelowna is settling down.
BC Forestry spokesperson Michaela Swan says the fire is estimated at between 15 and 20 hectares, but it is now considered more of a grass fire.
"Wildfire Management Branch supported with 32 personnel, six air tankers and two helicopters. We had excellent support from the Kelowna, Ellison and Joe Riche Fire Departments."
Swan says the fire is not contained and crews will be enforcing the fire lines with guards and getting water to the site.
No structures are being threatened.
