Fixed mobile vending permits are now a thing of the past in West Kelowna.
Council voted in favour of scrapping the policy which was put in place last year.
Mayor Doug Findlater says they're going to discontinue the three locations which were put in place for mobile vendors.
"We had some construction last year, we have some construction this year underway. We don't think it was all that successful. They weren't heavily patronized. We're going to discontinue that program."
This means roaming mobile vendors will be allowed to operate in the district again. Of course a valid business license is needed and they must obey all the rules of the road.
