New Adventure Race Coming to Penticton

Hoodoo Adventures announced a new multi sport race Monday afternoon. The Elevator will take place in Penticton March 31st, 2012. Solo athletes and teams of 2 to 7 will ascend over 50kms and 6000 feet of elevation as they make their way up the six "floors" of the race. Woman Robs Convenience Store

Penticton RCMP are looking for a unidentified woman after an early morning robbery. Tuesday morning around 5 AM a woman held up the 7-11 store on Skaha Lake Road threatening she had a weapon. Penticton City Council moved a motion Monday evening that will allow trucks to continue using Warren Avenue as a truck route. Skaha Park is about to get a mini face lift that will provide lake goers with more recreational space.
