Kelowna RCMP searching for fled suspect

Kelowna RCMP are looking for a man accused of stealing a couple ATV's out of Grand Prairie, Alberta.
Cst. Kris Clark says the 26 year old was pulled over, driving a Ford F150 pick up truck with a uhaul trailer containing a couple ATV's on Highway 33 near Daves Road around 5:30pm Wednesday.
Clark says the man and his passenger were about to be arrested when he took off on foot, jumped a barbed fence and ran down into the ravine.
"Subsequently a police services dog was used to track the man for a significant distance, but he wasn't located. During the track the dog and its handler found the man had gone towards a fast flowing creek. His track couldn't be reestablished."
Clark says police have received information the suspect made it out of the bush.
He is described as caucasian 5 foot 10 and 175lbs with blonde hair and blue eyes.
