Justice tour stops in Kelowna
Concerns and frustrations about the Canada justice system.
A round table discussion took place in Kelowna today, involving RCMP Superintendent Bill McKinnon, the Gospel Mission and mayors Walter Gray and James Baker to name a few.
Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Justice Kerry-Lynne Findlay came with an open ear.
"I try and listen as much as I can and then take these concerns back to the Minister of Justice. It is this kind of exchange that helps us form policy going forward."
MP's Ron Cannan and Dan Albas were also in attendance.
Findlay says others issues expressed during her Kelowna stop was drug addiction, mental health issues and gang violence.
