Oil refinery proposed for Kitimat

8/17/2012

A $13-billion oil refinery has been proposed near the community of Kitimat.

David Black, a BC community newspaper owner, will put up the billions of dollars to use the crude from Enbridge's controversial Northern Gateway pipeline.

This means tankers would ship refined fuels off of the BC northwest coast and not from Alberta.

This would substantially reduce the environmental risks and essentially put an end to the proposed pipeline.

The refinery would also create thousands of more jobs than the Northern Gateway project.

no kidding a community news paper owner, NOT CHRISTY OR HER NOT VERY INTELLIGENT POLITICAL PARTY came up with the idea Of a refinery, and just watch him roll in the profit in a few years, that should have been the tax payers of BC not a private individual, but Christy and Party were once again a sleep at the switch, concerned about ICBC high salaries, that they should have seen long ago. CAN YOU SAY "LESS THAN A YEAR CHRISTY"
