More blood donations are needed in order to help Kelowna defeat Prince George in the 15th annual Interior Drive for Live challenge.

Already two weeks in, Kelowna has reached almost 79% of its target compared to Prince George which sits at 89%.

So far 302 people have donated locally.

The city that collects the most blood donations by October 18 will be declared the winner.
