Voting Open for BCAA Worst Roads Campaign
Westside Road was voted the worst road in BC last year, and it's anyone's guess if it will take top spot again this year.
Voting has opened in BCAA's 2013 Worst Roads Campaign, but according to Associate Vice President of Road Assist Ken Cousin things might change this year.
"Westside Road is not in the top 10 yet but it has received some votes so we're kind of early. It's still early, but Kelowna residents do have a lot of time to add their vote if they feel something like Westside Road or another Okanagan road is in dire need of repair or redesign."
Cousin says, being on the list isn't necessarily a bad thing.
"Westside Road in Kelowna, which was the number one the Ministry of transportation and infrastructure has updated us that they are looking at several area of resurfacing and repair."
Voting will take place until May 27th and Cousin says the entire list of problem roads are passed on to government for them to investigate further.
