City boundaries may expand
The last time Kelowna expanded its city boundary was in the 1970's when Rutland and the Mission were brought into the fold, but the city could be growing again.
City staff are looking at absorbing areas like Ellison, Scotty Creek and sections of land to the south of town.
Staff promise to consult extensively with affected property owners.
The move was prompted by a formal request from Lake Country to include about 22 North Kelowna properties within Lake Country boundaries.
