New agreement for Okanagan library workers

A tentative deal has been reached between the Okanagan Regional Library and it's unionized employees.

Details of the new deal will be released once it has been ratified.

Negotiations began in the fall of 2011 and a strike vote was taken in April.

The new contract involves 155 front-line library workers at 17 branches across the Okanagan.
