NHL team signs former Rockets prospect


The Detroit Red Wings have signed Temmu Pulkkinen to a three year contract.

Pulkkinen was the Kelowna Rockets first round pick in the 2009 CHL Import Draft.

Pulkkinen played for Finland at the most recent World Junior Hockey Championships in Alberta.

The 20 year-old was the Wings fourth round pick in the 2010 NHL draft.
