  • Overtime setback

    The Everett Silvertips defeated the Kelowna Rockets 3-2 in Everett on Tuesday night, kicking off a three game week.
     
    Tyson Baillie scored his 36th goal of the season in a losing cause, and Leon Draisaitl added his 15th of the season, extending his goal scoring streak to six games.
     
    The Rockets outshot Everett 39-30 in the game but the Silvertips scored twice in the third to tie the game and then won it in overtime.
     
    Kelowna fell to 48-11-4-1 on the season with the loss.
     
    The Rockets will play its second straight road game on Friday as the team will return to Kelowna before travelling to Vancouver on Friday to take on the Giants.
     
    Kelowna returns home on Saturday when they will host the Spokane Chiefs at Prospera Place.
