Drunk driver 4 times over legal limit

A Kelowna man spent some time in a holding cell after blowing 4 times over the legal limit.

A man driving a Toyota was pulled over on Highway 97 on Saturday afternoon, after police noticed the registered driver of the vehicle had an invalid license.

Constable Steve Holmes says the breathalyzer test shocked police.

"Much to the surprise of the investigating officer, no doubt, the resuts were in excess of 4 times the legal limit."

The 49 year old man sobered up in a holding cell.

He's facing drunk driving charges.
