Another pedestrian hit
Mon, 2010-02-08 12:29.
Kelowna Mounties say dark clothing and poor lighting may have been factors in a crash last night that left a pedestrian with a broken ankle.
It happened at around 7:45pm, as a 43-year-old man was crossing Lakeshore Road, near Gyro Beach.
RCMP say a northbound vehicle barely avoided the man, before he was struck by a southbound car.
Police hope the incident will remind pedestrians to exercise caution when crossing the road.
