Protestors march on violence against homeless

A group of protestors marched in central Kelowna last night opposing violence against the homeless.
Between 50 and 100 people joined organizer Celia Browne-Clayton after a 41 year old homeless man was beaten just over a week ago behind Orchard Plaza.
Browne-Clayton says people need to take action.
"...and sitting there at the water cooler and bemoaning a situation isn't solving a situation, and that's what most Canadians do, I hate to say it."
RCMP have said that there witnesses to the attack, but did nothing to stop it from happening.
