Cyclist injured in North End hit and run

Kelowna RCMP are putting a call out for any witnesses to a hit and run early Friday morning.

It happened shortly after 1am at the corner of Bay Avenue at Kingsway.  Seems a cyclist was turning left onto Kingsway when a white vehicle ran a stop sign and hit the back of the bike.

The 24 year old man flew into the air and hit the ground, knocking him unconsious.  He eventually came to and got a friend to take him to the hospital.

The victim was treated for injuries to his jaw, knee, and hand.

Any witnesses to this incident are asked to call Kelowna RCMP or Crimestoppers.
