A 21-year-old Kelowna man is facing drug charges after police found cocaine and meth during a search of his apartment.

Kelowna RCMP were led to the man after receiving a tip about a vehicle, believed to be distributing illegal drugs in the downtown area. Police determined the car was a rental.

After an investigation of several days police arrested the man associated with the car and obtained a search warrant for his apartment, in the 700 block of Leon Avenue.

1 pound of various forms of cocaine, over 30 grams of crystal meth and over $15,000 dollars in cash was seized.

The man has been released from custody on strict conditions and is expected to appear in court on May 11.
