68yearold Robotti is on trial for killing 26yearold Roxanne Louie on January 4, 2015 in Penticton.
The crown in the second degree murder trial of Grace Robotti has wrapped up its case and the defence will begin its case tomorrow, March 30.
68-year-old Robotti is on trial for killing 26-year-old Roxanne Louie on January 4, 2015 in Penticton. Louie was the mother of Robotti's great-grandson.
The crown brought over a dozen of witnesses while making its case, including several police officers, a forensic pathologist and a friend of Louie's, who saw her the night before she was killed.
Robotti has admitted to killing Louie and pled guilty to interference with a body on day one of the trial, but pled not-guilty to the second degree murder charge because she says it was self-defence.
It's unclear how many witnesses the defence will call upon, but the trial is scheduled to continue until mid-April.
