An elderly woman was taken to hospital after she drove through a fence and into the wall of a home in Kelowna.
An elderly woman was taken to hospital after she drove through a fence and into the wall of a home in Kelowna.
Constable Micha Yakonowsky says the crash happened at around 11:20 this morning, at Highway 33 and Loseth Drive.
“What we had was a single vehicle motor vehicle accident,” he said “it was a female driving a Subaru, came northbound on Highway 33 around the curve and continued straight onto a house.”
Yakonowsky believes the woman was experiencing a medical issue. She was taken to hospital for minor injuries.
An elderly male resident inside the home was not hurt however the basement suffered significant damage.
