Cloudy and rainy for the weekend in Kelowna

Next week Environment Canada says more of the same

Another storm system is making its way into the Okanagan.

Meteorologist Alyssa Charbonneau at Envrionment Canada says you'll notice the change on Saturday.

"And that means increasing cloud, likely through the morning, and some showers beginning in the afternoon and continuing right through the night," says Charbonnau "Saturday's high will be plus 17, so though it will be cloudy and becoming rainy – it'll be a warm day."

Charbonneau says Sunday will remain cloudy with a high of 15 with showers returning in the evening – and those showers are expected to stick around for most of next week.

For the upper elevation highways – Charbonneau says there's a chance for some wet flurries on the Connector at Pennask Summit overnight on Saturday – but for the most part the highways will see only rain.
