RCMP say doors locked, but window left rolled down

Kelowna RCMP have an example of why you need to secure your vehicle.

Over the weekend, someone gained entry into a Ford F-350 parked in the 1100 block of Harvey Avenue.

Police say the doors were locked, but a window had apparently been left rolled down as there were no signs of forced entry.

A red and black Backcountry Access (BCA) Float 32 Avalanche Airbag Pack, a white Helly Hanson ski coat, and a large black leather Matt and Nat bag were stolen.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cst. Paul Legault of the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.

Remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, leaving a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net or by texting your tip to CRIMES (274637) ktown.
