Tuesday evenings wind storms have left thousands without power throughout B.C. including many Central Okanagan locations.
Tens of thousands of BC Hydro and Fortis BC customers are experiencing power outages following last night's high winds. An estimated 70,000 BC Hydro customers are estimated to be affected. Fortis BC customers throughout the Central Okanagan are also affected including many homes and businesses throughout Kelowna. There is no estimated time of power resumption.
