Plenty to do in Kelowna, West Kelowna, Peachland and Lake Country
There's no shortage of events this weekend celebrating Canada's 150th birthday.
West Kelowna's Westside Daze begins this evening ending with a fireworks display at Gellatly Bay beginning at 10:15. Saturday's parade begins at 10:30 am and Sunday's pancake breakfast starts at 8:00 am.

In Kelowna – Official Canada Day Ceremonies begin at Prospera Place at 1:00 pm including the cutting of a massive birthday cake. There are events all day along the waterfront. Due to high water along the foreshore – the fireworks Saturday night have been postponed to August 5th.

Peachland will start the weekend with the Beach Run at 7:30 am on Saturday. The cake cutting and official ceremonies are at noon. Fireworks will take place at 10:30 pm at the Day Wharf area.
