Armed robbery at Macs store

A masked man entered a convenience store Sunday morning and demanded money.

The Kelowna RCMP are looking for a suspect after an armed robbery early Sunday morning at a Mac's convenience store.

A masked man entered the store on Richter Street shortly after 6 am with a silver pistol and demanded cash.

The lone employee, who was uninjured in the incident, complied with the suspect, who quickly fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Despite the use of an RCMP canine unit, they were unable to track him down, but they were able to locate items used in the robbery.

The man was wearing grey track pants, a grey zippered hoodie and a pair of grey and brown light weight hiking boots.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP.
