Power will be out until 530 pm for maintenance
FortisBC has shut-off power Monday afternoon to about 215 customers in the Black Mountain – Joe Rich area of Kelowna to perform immediate system maintenance. The power is expected to be off until 5:30 pm.
This will impact customers on Highway 33, Goudie Road, Jackpine Road, Prather Road, Huckleberry Road, Sunvalley Road, Boone Court, Trapper Coert and Joe Rich Road.
The outage is required to repair damage discovered during a routine assessment of the line.
FortisBC says it recognizes the inconvenience to its customers, and appreciates their patience and understanding as crews work to repair the damage as quickly as possible.
