Repairs to flood protections had caused long lineups
There were major delays this afternoon on Highway 97, about 4 km south of Peachland, near Antlers Beach.
Provincial crews were repairing damaged flood protections, since 9:00 this morning, and the work had reduced the highway to a single lane alternating.
Repairs have been completed, but for most of the day, there were extremely long line-ups that stretched for kilometres.
