A two hectare wildfire near Westside Road, north of Trader's Cove continues to burn.
Fire Information Officer Jody Lucius says there are currently three firefighters on site, patrolling hotspots.
She says the fire is still considered as "being held".
“So that means that with the current suppression activities and forecasted weather we don’t expect it to grow any further,” Lucius says.
Pictures shared on social media when the fire broke out on Tuesday suggest an unattended campfire is to blame for the fire, but Lucius says an official investigation will take months.
“We do have two Fire Origin and Cause Investigators on the scene and they can take actually months or even several years to complete their investigation so it does take quite some time for us to know the cause of the fire” she said.
