Fire caused heavy damage
At approximately 4:00 am, Kelowna Fire Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call reporting a house on fire in the 500 block of Milex Court in Rutland.
Upon arrival, crews found flames on the second floor of one side of the duplex.
The fire was quickly extinguished, but not before causing heavy damage to the structure.
The fire does not seem to be of a suspicious nature, but is under investigation by Kelowna fire officials.
