Specialized Emergency Response Team called in
Kelowna RCMP tracked down a missing man with the help of a specialized Emergency Response Team on Tuesday night.
Just after 5, police were called to a home on Academy Way, trying to find a man who'd missed a meeting with his parole officer.
Without being able to verify what was on the other side of the door, police called in the tactical unit, who used a robot to look inside the house, where they saw the man injured on the ground.
After that, police safely got into the home, and the man was taken to hospital.
