Look for gasoline prices to drop three cents a litre in the not so distant future.
Kelowna motorists can expect a drop at the pumps in the not-too-distant future.
Gas Buddy Dot Com's Dan McTeague says it could happen after the Labour Day long weekend.
"In Kelowna, much of our gasoline comes from Edmonton. Edmonton takes it's cues directly from the Chicago spot market, which is the U.S mid west market. It is that market which is starting to show signs that prices are starting to reverse finally."
Kelowna motorists are typically paying 117.9 cents a litre while the provincial average is 116.9 cents a litre.
"If I am a gas station in Kelowna my price to buy the gasoline is about $1.03 a litre. This is about as high as it gets by the looks of it and it's likely over the next couple of weeks that prices will trend down which would be welcome relief to most of us as we get back to normal and get back to school and get back to business as usual", McTeague added.
