Crown land restrictions have been put in place due to active fire suppression work. Recreational activity, including hunting, is prohibited in the area.
About 77 residents from 35 properties (310 – 1495 Philpott Rd) remain on an evacuation order.

Ground crews will continue extinguishing hotspots today, conduct danger assessments, and cut down damaged trees.
Household pets, like cats and dogs, are the only animals allowed to return with residents – larger animals and livestock are not allowed back in at this time, due to uncertainty about the fire’s behaviour.
