Kelowna RCMP arrest two suspects in weekend assault
Two men face charges in connection with a serious assault in Kelowna over the weekend.
At around midnight on Sunday, RCMP were called to the 400 block of Cawston Avenue to find an unresponsive male lying in the road – officers say it appeared the man was suffering from multiple injuries and was semi-conscious.
Two men was arrested nearby, and police say a 24-year-old from Kelowna, and a 36-year-old from Vernon, faces charges – they remain in custody.
The victim was taken to hospital, and RCMP are awaiting an update on his condition.
