20 fire crews monitoring fire overnight
Central Okanagan emergency officials say roughly 20 structural fire crews from seven local fire departments will continue monitoring the Philpott Road wildfire overnight.
The latest estimate from the BC Wildfire Service has the size of the fire at 460 hectares, and 20% contained.
No further changes to the evacuation order will happen tonight, which is still keeping approximately 380 people from 160 properties from returning home.
About 720 people have been allowed home over the last 48 hours, but are still on an evacuation alert, and will need to be ready to potentially leave again, right away.
The reception centre set up at Willow Park Church in Rutland will be open between 4 and 6 pm on Tuesday.
As well, FortisBC says its customers will get a bill credit for however long they were out of their homes.
Falcon Ridge water system customers are also being limited to only household uses for water, and is also under a boil water notice.
