Fire starts behind homes near Pleasantview Road
People living in a Glenrosa neighbourhood had a scare on Thursday evening.
Just before 6:00, a grass fire started on some greenery behind homes in the Pleasantview and Salloum Road area.
Fortunately, people from nearby homes started spraying the fire with garden hoses before crews got there.
16 West Kelowna firefighters responded to the fire, and were quickly able to extinguish it.
The Fire Rescue says it was started by a human, and have turned over the investigation to the RCMP.
