Lake Country, Oyama Westbank still affected
BC Hydro crews have restored power to most of the homes in our area after this week's windstorm.
According to the utility's website – 174 are still without power in Lake Country and Oyama – and 15 in Westbank. There's no indication on when crews will have the lines repaired.
The windstorm on Tuesday brought gusts up to 70 kph knocking trees onto hydro lines up and down the valley.
Gusts in Kamloops were clocked at up to 104 kph.
