An injured mountain biker was airlifted out of the Smith Creek area of West Kelowna
An injured mountain biker had to be airlifted out of the Smith Creek area of West Kelowna yesterday afternoon. Search and rescue volunteers brought in a specialized mountian bike rescue team and a rescue helicopter team from Vernon to get the biker out of the steep terrain.
She was taken to hospital with an ankle injury.
