Investigation leads to recovery of stolen cars
A 19-year-old man was arrested after being found inside a stolen vehicle early this morning.
Just before 1:30, RCMP and the police dog unit were called out to Burtch Road south of Springfield, after a report of a man stealing a car.
After finding and arresting him inside the Honda Accord, police also found the man carrying illegal drugs.
That grey Honda had been stolen from Saucier Avenue a couple hours before, which led police to find another car that was reported stolen yesterday (Thu).
Police say they also believe the suspect robbed a convenience store on Glenmore Road earlier in the night.
He was kept in jail and is facing multiple charges.
