No drastic weather this week

Temperatures will be slightly cooler than normal for this time of year.

Following a decently warm, sunny weekend here in Kelowna, we'll be getting a bit of everything this week.

It's projected to be sunny and partly cloudy throughout the week, with a chance of showers, and even flurries later on.

While we're not out of the woods quite yet for snow, Environment Canada Meteorologist Armel Castellan says any snowfall this week shouldn't be anything major.

"We're certainly past the worst," says Castellan. "It's certainly still very much possible in March and April to see snow here and there, it just usually doesn't last very long, and generally the snow event is going to be lesser. It's not going to be 50 centimeters."

Temperatures may dip down slightly to coincide with any precipitation later in the week, with overnight lows for the week coming in at around minus 3 to minus 4, making this week slightly cooler than normal for this exact time of year.

Highs for the week, on the other hand, will be around eleven degrees.
