Snow coming to Coquihalla Connector this afternoon
DriveBC is warning travelers of the Coquihalla and Connector today.
An advisory has been in place since 1pm this afternoon(Friday April 13) between Merritt and Hope, and Merritt to Kelowna:
Expect rain possibly transitioning to heavy snowfall throughout the late afternoon and evening. Travelers are advised to exercise caution, adjust driving to road conditions and watch for crew and equipment working
At last check, at 3pm, the highway cams are showing raining conditions on Coquihalla, and conditions transitioning to snow near the Brenda Mine Road on the Connector.
