Lake levels continue to drop

Peachland state of emergency ends.

The water level on Okanagan Lake continues to drop.

As of this morning, the lake was 342.64 meters, which is a reduction of 1 centimetre in the last 24 hours.

The Regional District says flood protection measures need to remain in place though, until the lake drops another 16 centimetres, which would be considered full pool.

Peachland's state of emergency has been rescinded due to a reduction in the threat of flooding.
