Chris Kirby, 35, now in stable condition
A North Okanagan man who suffered stab wounds early Sunday morning is currently in stable condition at the hospital, but is not cooperating with the police investigation by refusing to talk to investigators.
Shortly before 2:40 AM, Kelowna RCMP arrived on Lakeshore Road after getting word that 35-year-old Chris Kirby had been stabbed, and was in serious condition.
Three people were arrested at the scene, and a canine unit was brought in to look for further evidence.
“We definitely have identified who was involved in the altercation, and are trying to speak with all parties involved,” says RCMP Constable Lesley Smith.
Smith says she’s hopeful that Kirby will be open to speaking with police soon so that they can continue to piece together the investigation.
