Prowling at the Westside Dump

3 incidents since May 6th

There have been three recent RCMP files occurring at the Westside Transfer Station located on Asquith Road in West Kelowna. 

On May 6th a call was made to report flashlights being seen at the station and banging coming from the scrap metal pile.  Police attended but the suspects fled.

On May 23rd RCMP were once again called when someone entered the station and tried to steal a motor from a large dump trailer.  The suspects had entered through a hole in the fence. 

On June 18th staff reported that a Homelite leaf blower was stolen from a sea-can sometime over the weekend.  Surveillance shows a male on a bicycle with a head lamp entering the premises and cutting the lock off the storage container.
