Stabbing seriously injures North Okanagan man

Police arrested three people at the scene

Around 2:40 AM Sunday morning, police responded to a report that a 35-year-old North Okanagan man had been stabbed. He sustained potentially life threatening stab wounds, and was taken to hospital in serious condition.

Officers arrested three people at the scene, and a canine unit was brought in to help search for additional evidence in the ongoing investigation.

“Our investigators believe this was an isolated incident, and that the public was not at risk,” says RCMP Corporal Jesse O'Donaghey.

Anyone with additional information is asked to call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300, or remain completely anonymous by leaving a tip with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
