Last sighting in Surrey
West Kelowna RCMP are trying to find a missing West Kelowna woman.
Brittany Martel was last known to be in Surrey on June 14.
Police believe that Martel is planning to hitchhike to the Northwest Territories, potentially with another man, though it’s not known how she's getting there.
Investigators say her family and friends are very concerned, and that her cell phone is no longer working. Her last contact with family was also on June 14, with her last social media post made on the 22nd.
The 27-year-old is Aboriginal, 5'4" tall, and weighing 141 pounds. She has orange streaks in her black hair, with brown eyes.
Anyone who's seen Martel is asked to contact their local police.
